Op nummer 12 komen John Lennon, Yoko Ono en de Plastic Ono band binnen met Happy Christmas. Dan komt er een hele tijd niks en op 38 zien we dan de volgende nieuwe binnenkomer, David Cassidy met Rock me baby. De Mosquito van de Doors komt binnen op 47. Het plaatje klinkt toch wel heel anders dan de vorige Top 50 hits van de Doors. Michael Jackson en de Osmonds wisselen deze week van plek in de Top van de Top 50, waarmee de Osmonds op de Top Positie verschijnen. Old Dom is dead, het verhaal over z’n overleden hond, van Hans van Hemert is treiterschijf deze week. Een aantal mooie kanskaarten deze week, zoals van Chi Coltrane, Loggins & Messina, Billy Paul en Judge Dread.
