Spaanse schone van de Classics verwelkomen we deze week op nummer 29. Tango
Johhny, die ook life werd gezongen vanaf de Mebo II, verwelkomen we op nummer
38. Een ware gouwe ouwe komt nieuw binnen op nummer 45, In the Mood van het
Glenn Miller Orchestra, deze keer onder leiding van Buddy de Franco. Het
mooie Someone van Axis is deze week de treiterschijf. Een van mijn favorieten
is deze week door Alfred Lagarde tot kanskaart gekozen : Marcella van de

the records that I have heard played most on RNI over the past week have

Strangely, "Tango Johnny" by Nico Haak en de Paniekzaaiers, which was one of the most played records
in the previous week, has been almost ignored this week. Dutch service news today is read by Leo
van der Goot and Gerard Smit. Marc van Amstel must have
gone on shore leave. On the International service, news is read by Arnold
Layne, Brian McKenzie and Tony Allan and programmes
are: 19.00 Tony Allan (International Prediction
Hit 40) 22.00 Arnold Layne (Reviews) 23.00 Arnold Layne (Kent Request Hour) 24.00 Brian McKenzie 3.00 - 7.00 Mike Ross Tony Allan said "Mike Ross is
furthering his education. He's just come in and said 'Hey Tony, where have
you put your Superman magazines'". Focus are
featured on Driemaster talking about their new LP. A mobile discotheque is advertised for
today featuring Tony Berk and Mike Ross, but,
obviously, Mike Ross will not be appearing as he is on board the Mebo 2. Sunday 6 August 1972 The final Karel
Prior programme is broadcast this morning. Hans ten
Hooge presents a programme

all 14 news bulletins on the Dutch service are read today by Gerard Smit. Two interviews on the Ferry Maat
show today - one with Zoo and the other with Axis. On the International
service, the programme schedule and newsreaders are
the same as yesterday. Thursday 10 August 1972 Jos
Kuyer and Marc van Amstel
return on the tender and Gerard Smit goes off on
shore leave. All three are featured reading news today. Also Rob Eden returns
to the Mebo 2 and Mike Ross goes off. Leo van der Goot continues on Ochtendeditie and Hans ten Hooge

and Tony Allan goes off on shore leave. Programmes
