Saturday 17 July 1971

Peter Holland has an interview with Ben Cramer in his programme at 9.55 this morning. The station goes off the air for a few seconds at 12.30 during the Super Top 50 show, presented by Joost de Draaier. International service programmes are:

 16.00 Mike Ross

 18.00 Alan West

 20.00 Mark Stuart

 22.00 Stevi Merike

 24.00 - 3.00 Dave Rogers

Newsreaders are Dave Rogers and Mike Ross. A mobile discotheque show today features Peter Holland and Crispian St John.

Sunday 18 July 1971

Both Joost Verhoeven and Leo van der Goot present programmes this morning and there is also the first edition of Prioriteiten with Karel Prior. International service programmes are:

15.00 Dave Rogers (Super Hit 50)

18.00 Alan West (You'll never believe this)

 19.30 Mike Ross (LP show)

 21.00 Mark Stuart

 23.00 Stevi Merike

 24.00 - 3.00 Dave Rogers

Alan West didn't like many of the new records that he played on You'll never believe this. He knocked Dave Rogers' hitpick ("Half breed" by Titanic) terribly, but did like the new singles by Family and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Mark Stuart and Stevi Merike read news today.

Tonight's mobile discotheque - in Belgium at 20.30 - features Joost de Draaier and Crispian St John.

Monday 19 July 1971

Leo van der Goot has his first hitpick this week - "Niet in de auto" by Gerard Cox. The medium wave transmitter went off the air at 14.34, but came back on during the same record, "It's too late" by Carole King. International service programmes follow the same schedule as on Saturday and Dave Rogers and Mike Ross are the newsreaders.

Alan West has a new jingle that says "It's time to say hello to Elaine time" and also a new jingle for his record of the night.

Tuesday 20 July 1971

Today is Joost Verhoeven's birthday, so he has "Happy Birthday" sung to him at 18.00 after reading the news. Mike Ross said, in reply to a letter, that he is a friend of Dave Anthony, who has recently left Radio Luxembourg. Elaine, Jenna and Emma came out to the Mebo 2 to deliver things to their husbands/fathers. Dave Rogers and Mike Ross read the news.

A mobile discotheque show today features Ferry Maat and Crispian St John.

Wednesday 21 July 1971

RNI is off the air until 7.45 this morning and went off again for a few seconds at 12.35. Ferry Maat interviews the Symptoms on his programme. Throughout the day, there is an announcement for a Dutchman who is on holiday in England to contact a Dutch hospital. News this evening is read by Dave Rogers and Mike Ross.

Thursday 22 July 1971

Hans ten Hooge and Crispian St John return to the Mebo 2, whilst Stevi Merike and Leo van der Goot go off on shore leave. This changes the International service programme schedule to:

 16.00 Mike Ross

 18.00 Alan West

 20.00 Crispian St John

 22.00 Mark Stuart

 24.00 - 3.00 Dave Rogers

Dave Rogers, Mike Ross and Alan West read the news. Alan West receives a note from his wife Elaine, who he says wears glasses, which he calls a shopping list. Also announced in Alan West's show is that there will be programme changes from 1 October, details of which are being worked on.

Friday 23 July 1971

Joost Verhoeven takes over the Jan Van Veen show from 9.00 to 12.00 as Leo van der Goot is now off the boat. Most played record is now undoubtedly "Because I love" by Majority One. Dave Rogers, Mike Ross and Alan West read the news. A mobile discotheque today features Stevi Merike and Ferry Maat.
